COURSES
Following
are the various courses we offer, all of which are performance based,
meaning that the time required to complete the course is related
to logistical considerations and student needs
PADI
Discover Scuba Diving. 1,600 Bt:
If
you are not sure about diving, haven't got the time, or just want
a look. This is your way to explore the marine environment, with
an instructor. The D.S.D. includes orientation on land, a few skills
under water and a tour of the surrounding coral reef. On completion of
the D.S.D. you will receive a temporary, two week license to dive
with a dive professional to a maximum of 12 m.
Additional
dives in connection with this course can be made up to within two
weeks.
Bubblemaker. 950 Bt:
The
bubblemaker course is an introduction to scuba for children aged 8 - 12
years. It is a basic orientation on the equipment used, dive skills and
fun in the swimming pool.
PADI
Open Water. 7,800 Bt:
The
Open Water course will take you through the PADI entry level in
only 4 days/ 2 weekends. The O.W. course consists of 3 phases:
1) An academic part, where videos will be shown and course materials
will be discussed and reviewed.
2)
Then we will go through how the equipment works before entering
the pool where important skills will be taught before moving into
phase 3, "open water".
3)
The last phase is our 4 dives in "Open Water", where skills will
be reviewed before an under water tour of various sites. On completion
of the Open Water course, you will be qualified for life, be allowed
to purchase dive equipment and dive with your certified friends
down to a maximum of 18 meters.
PADI
Advanced O/W 6,600 Bt:
After
finishing your Open Water, you can go straight on to this 2/3 days
experience development course. The Advanced course is a fun way
to learn how to safely plan and conduct a deep dive (18- 30 meters)
and navigate under-water.
In addition to these two dives you can choose 3 out of several other
exciting dives which include: Peak Performance
Buoyancy,
Naturalist, Fish Identification, Multilevel, Night, Video &
Photography and Search + Recovery.
The PADI Advanced O/W, as well as increasing the range of sites you
are permitted to dive world wide, opens up the door to the many PADI specialties and is necessary to begin the Rescue Diver Course.

Fun
Diving:
Once
you have obtained your Open Water diving certificate or above, you
will be able to go ' fun diving'. We have various sites to accommodate
differing interests and will arrange the trips to suit you.
On
all of the dives you will be accompanied by an Instructor or Divemaster.
The cost varies from site to site depending on their location to
the resort from 900B -2,100B for a two tank dive trip.

All courses and fun dives are conducted in small groups with a
PADI Instructor or Divemaster.

Materials are available in English, Scandinavian, German, French, Thai
and Japanese.

All courses and trips are all inclusive, i.e. diving equipment, boat
trips, lunch on the boat,
course materials and certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

All of the instructors are PADI
affiliated which means that any courses held
with us will result with a PADI certification.

Courses can be arranged to cater for your needs, i.e. academics
in B.K. and water work at Ban Krut.
