OVERVIEW:

Diving in the area: Talu, Ran Gai, Ran Pbet and Lam La are surrounded by an abundant array of colors and coral formations. It's pristine waters are a host to much varied marine life and the sites are accessible to divers of all levels.

Dive school: Absolut Wreck is a PADI Dive school situated in Baan Klang Aow Resort, Ban Krut. We have the resort facilities are at our disposal, making AW the perfect place for learning. Dive sites are varied and therefore suited to the demands of varying courses.

Ban Krut: is little known to most tourists. It has a 30km long beach that supports a small fishing village and a few bungalow resorts. Even on weekends you may only find a few holiday makers on the sandy beaches. The area is peaceful and serene. The nearest town, Bangsapan, is in the Province of Prachuap Kirikhan on the East coast, South of Hua Hin. A temple has been erected here in honor of the King. It is lavish in style, incorporating modern architectural techniques and traditional forms to create an impressive towering structure over the headland of Ban Krut Beach.

An easy distance: Great diving is not that hard to reach! The dive school is 380km from Bangkok and a mere 150km from Hua Hin.

Controversy: The area has been subject to much controversy recently regarding plans to build an electricity plant. There is a large fishing community as well as a substantial area of coral reef that surround this designated spot on which these plans could have devastating effects.
